MahaShivaRathri – The Night of Awakening

MahaShivarathri is one of the significant festivals of India. Shivrathri festival  falls on the 14th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Phalgun. Shivarathri is the darkest night and celebrates the grace of Shiva who is considered the Adi Guru in Yogic Traditions.
This night the planetary positions are such that it is enormously beneficial for one’s physical and spiritual well being to stay awake  and aware the whole night, with the spine straight.

It’s a night long celebration at Isha Yoga center Coimbatore.  Don’t know if I can stay awake the whole night as I am down with an accident.

It can watched Live on AASTHA TV from 3rd March 6PM to 6AM the following day.
Can also watch the live webcast at
